Joryn Jenkins Book Mentor

  • Graduated from Yale University with a Bachelor's Degree in English Literature at age 19, in 1976
  • Obtained her Juris Doctorate from Georgetown when she was just 23 years old
  • Taught as a full-time professor at Stetson University College of Law
  • Lexis published her first book, Florida Civil Motions Practice, in 1994
  • She also opened her own law firm in 1994

    • Joryn's first case as a sole practitioner was a successful appeal to the Florida Supreme Court

     

    • Won the Federal Bar Association 1997 President’s Award

     

    • Earned the prestigious A. Sherman Christensen Award, presented in the United States Supreme Court (awarded to only one person annually since 1986) in 2001

     

    • A federal judge once explained that Joryn's most admirable traits are her “dedication, innovative spirit, and hard work.”
